About "The Theater of the Midnight Sun"
During these difficult and stressful times, The Theater of the Midnight Sun (TOTMS) is meant to offer some relief, with entertaining audio dramas that are, most importantly, FUN. And though some episodes in this anthology series do contain their fair share of dire moments and earth-shaking drama, in the end, TOTMS is really just a great big frothy cocktail of catastrophe, cliffhangers, and comedy. From the depths of Hell (ya know, in a fun way 😊), to the outer realms of “branes” and crazy alternate dimensions, to one man’s whacked-out plan to take down Santa, TOTMS offers interesting, thought-provoking, and often mind-boggling adventures.
TOTMS not only tries to touch on big new ideas but also be more intimate in its storytelling, and is topped off by wall-to-wall music that gives each episode its own charming “cinematic” style. A warning too: Danger, Danger! We are a novice cast of friends and colleagues, but we try our hearts out—all in the hopes of making the best shows possible. Oh, the re-reads! Oh, the pain! (to quote a certain doctor)
A total of 17 episodes are planned this season, each ranging in length from ~22 to 45 minutes. Five complete stories will be posted, where each “story” might be comprised of 1 audio drama episode, or 3 episodes, or 6, etc.

Episodes are published weekly, or in the case of the story "Left Field," every other week. We also hope to release video versions of the episodes in 2024 on YouTube and perhaps other sites.
